Dr. Patrick Merritt, Hugo Dentist

Dr. Patrick Merritt is a 1995 graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He has been a member of the Hugo community for over 40 years. In his 30 years of practicing dentistry, the last 25 have been here at Hugo Dental Care. Dr. Merritt is a member of the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association, and the St. Paul District Dental Society. Dr. Merritt enjoys not only getting to know his patients but also helping to educate and partner with them to improve and maintain their oral health. He strives to have his patients be confident in the treatment choices available to them and makes every attempt to ensure that they are comfortable during the treatment process.

Dr. Merritt enjoys many outdoor activities with his wife and three daughters. As an avid hiker and biker, it is not uncommon to see him and his wife enjoying these activities together around the community. He has been actively involved with his daughters' varying sports and activities while they have grown up here. This includes coaching and supporting them at their games, practices, and tournaments.

Dr. Merritt and his team enjoy having the opportunity to make patients feel like Hugo Dental Care is their dental home and that they are a welcome part of our day.
